GUIDELINES FOR A SUCCESSFUL TWITTER #LUPUSCHAT

           Guidelines:

• Search the hashtag #LupusChat to find other members and interact with the community during the chat (and at any time you need community support).

• Spread the word! Let others know you are participating in a #LupusChat conversation & invite them to join in.

• Remember to use #LupusChat in ALL of your tweets so that all participants are able to see them and so your responses can be included in our recap.

• Use A1, A2, etc, when answering questions so we can keep track of each other’s responses. (example: A1. Yes, this is my answer. #LupusChat)

• As always, remember to be respectful to each other, all our co-hosts and all guests.  

• Respect the topic of the day, and save all non-related and personal questions for after the chat.

           Some extra tips:

• Include full sentences in each tweet instead of making (½, 2/2) "continuation" tweets.

• Avoid quote tweeting when responding to questions, just make sure to notate the topic question you are answering. “Replying” is not necessary.

• Engage each other in conversation. Show support to fellow community members by retweeting and/or marking a statement as favorite when you relate to or find it interesting.

• Remember, It is NOT proper to use a tweetchat stream to market your own product or services. (Unless asked to.)
